Eli has been Chairman of the Group since its formation in 1989, previously founding the Red Sea Group, a collection of real estate companies which he led as its Chairman for ten years. He has a wealth of experience in the construction, design, development, financing, acquisition and management of leading European hotels, including Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London, Park Plaza London Riverbank, art’otel amsterdam, Park Plaza Nuremberg and many others. Eli has led the development of major retail spaces in shopping malls and large residential projects in the USA, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He also served as Chairman of the Israel Hotel Association.

Yoav Papouchado, Chairman of Red Sea Hotels Limited ("Red Sea") and President of Gear Construction, the construction arm of Red Sea, has over 30 years of experience of residential developments and data centres worldwide, developed through his long tenure at Red Sea. Yoav is also a member of the Supervisory Board, and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Arena Hospitality Group, the Company’s subsidiary listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Yoav has a B.A. in Economics and an MBA, both from Tel Aviv University

Boris has been President and Chief Executive Officer of PPHE Hotel Group since 1991. He was responsible for bringing the Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts® brand to the Group in 1994 in collaboration with Eli Papouchado and the Red Sea Group, and has been a major influencer in the expansion of the Group’s international portfolio. In previous roles, Boris established the Yamit Hotel in Israel in 1984 and served as its President and was Director of the Carlton Hotel in Israel from 1979 until 1984 and General Manager of the Royal Horseguards Hotel in London from 1972 until 1979.

Greg Hegarty is PPHE Hotel Group's Co-Chief Executive Officer. He manages the day-to-day running of the business and has a key role in defining and implementing the Group’s long-term strategy as it continues in its current phase of significant growth. He's also responsible for the Group’s ongoing proactive engagement with shareholders.

Greg has been with the Group for almost two decades in various leadership positions and was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of the Group in 2019 and Deputy Chief Executive Officer & Chief Operating Officer in 2020. During this time, he has held overall responsibility for creating and implementing the Group’s operational strategies, including Operations, People & Culture and Commercial, while driving PPHE’s corporate vision and growth strategy. He was appointed an Executive Director of the Company and joined the Board in May 2023. He has almost three decades of experience in the wider hospitality sector.

Prior to joining the Group, Greg held senior management roles at recognised brands and owner/operators such as Clermont Hotel Group (formerly GLH / Thistle Hotels) and RBH (formerly Redefine BDL Hotels). He holds a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and has further shown his commitment to the hospitality industry by becoming a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality and Master Innholder. In 2004 Greg won a prestigious Acorn Award, which recognises the flair and passion of rising stars in hospitality, and has further shown his commitment to the industry by becoming a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality and a Master Innholder.

Chief Financial Officer & Executive Director

Daniel is a Certified Public Accountant and is the Chief Financial Officer & Executive Director of the Group.  He joined the Group in 2011 as Group Head of Accounting and was appointed Vice President Corporate Finance in 2015. Prior to joining the Group, Daniel held senior leadership positions within audit and finance, including eleven years at Mazars LLP, an international audit practice.

Ken joined the board as a non-executive director on 4 September 2019 and was appointed to Non-Executive Deputy Chairman on 5 December 2023. He spent over 20 years with the Royal Bank of Scotland Group in a range of management roles with a focus on corporate and institutional banking and risk. Ken’s last position at Royal Bank of Scotland Group involved him overseeing the whole Guernsey arm of the business. In 2009 Ken moved to Barclays Wealth where he spent 8 years leading their banking and trust business in Guernsey and had wider fiduciary banking responsibilities in other locations. Ken also has an MBA from Warwick Business School and has completed the Institute of Directors certificate and diploma in Company Direction.

Nigel joined the board as a non-executive director on 20 February 2020. He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor, with over 35 years of property expertise from site acquisition through to asset management, Nigel headed-up the property teams at leading blue chip companies Tesco and The John Lewis Partnership. He started his career at Tesco where he oversaw the supermarket's rapid expansion in the 1990's, rising to the position of Construction Director.

Following ten years at Tesco, Nigel joined The John Lewis Partnership in 1999 as Property Director. During his 18 year tenure he built-out an in-house property team and established the infrastructure that enabled both the Waitrose and John Lewis brands to rollout across the UK. Appointed to the Waitrose Board in 2003, which he served on for 15 years, Nigel was a key member of the Board that grew sales from £1.5bn to £7bn, overseeing a more than doubling of the store estate.

Nigel is a non-executive director of FTSE 250 constituent Vistry Group PLC (recently rebranded following Bovis Homes acquisition of Linden Homes) and the construction company RG Carter. He chairs the Vistry Remuneration Committee as well as sitting on both the Audit and Nominations Committees. For RG Carter Nigel chairs the Audit Committee. Nigel is also Deputy Chairman at the Maudsley Mental Health Charity.

Stephanie joined the board as a non-executive director on 7 August 2020. She is a qualified chartered accountant, with over 15 years of capital market expertise. Stephanie was a capital markets director at PwC where her role included advising asset managers on listing investment funds and real estate investment trusts (UK, Guernsey and Jersey) on the London Stock Exchange. She also advised on ongoing obligations, corporate governance, accounting policies and reporting processes.

Stephanie is also an independent non-executive director of Apax Global Alpha Limited (sitting on their Audit Committee) and JLEN Environmental Assets Group Limited (sitting on their Audit, Risk and Investment Committees).

Ms Bakker is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience in audit, finance, executive search and leadership advisory. She has a broad background in finance with a speciality in financial reporting and was part of the IFRS and Financial Instrument competence centre at KPMG. During the last ten years, she has combined her finance background with executive search and succession planning for various corporate clients.

Inbar is a key member of the Executive Leadership team and PPHE’s C-Suite and she joined PPHE Hotel Group in 2010. Inbar leads and manages the Group’s corporate initiatives and corporate expansion as well as multi-jurisdictional legal, corporate finance, M&A, corporate governance, insurance and compliance, and ESG functions.

Inbar brings an expertise in negotiations and deal execution and headsthe Group’s business development and expansion team, exploring, identifying and negotiating new projects in the Group’s regions of operation, from deal structuring, acquisition, financing and planning/construction set up.

Prior to joining the Group, Inbar was in the corporate finance team at the law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP (now Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP) in London and formerly a partner at the Israeli law firm, Bach, Arad, Scharf & Co. Inbar holds an LLB from Tel Aviv University and an LLM from the LSE. She is a qualified solicitor in England, Wales and Israel.

Robert is Executive Vice President Commercial Affairs for PPHE Hotel Group and oversees all commercial activities (including Sales, Distribution, Reservations, Customer Service, Revenue, Digital Marketing and CRM) as well as Brand Marketing, Guest Experience and Communications (including brand strategy, brand development, management of the group’s strategic partnership with the Radisson Hotel Group and corporate communications). He has more than 20 years’ experience in international hospitality and first joined the group in 2001, when he was involved in the opening of the Group’s hotels in the United Kingdom and the successful implementation of Radisson Hotel Group’s marketing programmes and systems. He rejoined the Group in 2007 and since then has significantly developed the central commercial organisation, creating and leading a multi-disciplined, international team of specialists. Robert has lived and worked in Aruba, Los Angeles and London, and is based at the Group’s head office in Amsterdam. Prior to joining PPHE Hotel Group, he held international Marketing positions at Golden Tulip Worldwide and Hilton Hotels Corporation. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management Business Administration from Hotelschool The Hague, with a major in Marketing.

Executive Vice President Operations, The United Kingdom

Daniel Pedreschi is the Executive Vice President Operations, The United Kingdom for PPHE Hotel Group and oversees all UK hotels, restaurants and bars in collaboration with each individual General Manager, as well as a focus on new properties developments and the general PPHE Hotel Group strategy. Daniel has been with the company since 2009, originally taking the position of Hotel Manager at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London and in 2011 he moved to the General Manager position. In October 2013 Daniel took on the additional role of supporting the Central Reservations Office as a General Manager next to his existing responsibilities. With over 20 years' experience, Daniel’s passion for hospitality and attention to detail have always been key drivers in his career, striving to find improvements to always keep ahead of the competition and enhance our position in the industry.

Executive Vice President Operations, The Netherlands

Michelle Wells has held a number of management positions at PPHE Hotel Group over a period of 18 years, originally joining as general manager, Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes London in 2007. She moved to the role of general manager Park Plaza County Hall London in 2014 and then onto Park Plaza London Victoria in 2016. Michelle moved to the role of Vice President Operations the Netherlands in 2019, she oversees all operational, revenue, finance, marketing and sales strategic objectives for the region on behalf of six properties.

With a record year in 2023 and the acquisition of the artotel Piazza Sallustio in 2021 which sits under her remit, she has recently been promoted to the role of Executive Vice President Operations for the Netherlands and Italy. We will see the opening of our first Italian property following a full refurbishment in the Summer of 2024.

Michelle brings a strong operational and commercial background to the business and educational qualifications including the highly acclaimed completion of the General Manager Programme in strategic management at Cornell University in the United States, is a Master Innholder and a holder of the freedom of the city of London.
